Position Overview:

The CLA Manager is responsible for supporting the learning objectives of the GHSC leadership and operational team, by developing, maintaining, and implementing tailored training curriculum, by leading (online, and in person) training sessions, and by promoting best practices. This position will support the continuous improvement and learning vision, and will foster use of best practices, and align implementation approaches for the GHSC project.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and integrate high quality training and learning objectives into curriculum.
  • Work with team leadership and supply chain experts to develop training which integrate best practices to best fit project objectives.
  • Create implement and maintain learning initiatives for a U.S. based and in country project stakeholders.
  • Adapt globalized learning objectives to country specific contexts.
  • Develop learning agendas and hold teams and individuals accountable for training completion and assessments.
  • Develop adult learning training and curriculum which techniques including simulations and group activities which enhance team building and collaborative learning.
  • Design and maintain training templates and materials
  • Strengthen and build out knowledge management materials and training pamphlets including audio and visual guides.
  • Streamline knowledge management and e-learning capabilities to support a unified approach to supply chain best practices.

Position Requirements:

  • Extensive experience designing and learning supply chain training courses.
  • Demonstrated experience translating best practices into engaging curriculum and course topics.
  • Proven abilities leading online and in person training sessions for a wide variety of organizational stakeholders.
  • Proven experience designing central learning/training content while adapting approaches for specific and unique country audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing web applications which include a wide variety of learning interfaces.
  • Experience integrating learning which focuses on health commodity procurement projects is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Experience working for USAID programs preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required; Demonstrated ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
  • Flexibility to travel and to work overseas; experience living or working in developing countries preferred.
