It is a 525-bed medical center, and home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center, Burn Trauma Unit and Nationally Ranked Heart Program. In addition to a first rate heart program, the hospital is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. Sentara Norfolk General also serves as the primary teaching hospital for undergraduate and graduate education for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School As aPhysical Therapist (PT)with Sentara, you evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility impairments. You help them every day with regaining a piece of their independence and seeing their success. Job Summary Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
