When speed and accuracy are critical, enterprises, PE firms, their portfolio companies, tech investors and legal advisors across the globe choose Black Duck. We deliver many hundreds of audits per year mostly on behalf of acquirers in fast-paced tech transactions. Our consultants discover and illuminate open source, software quality, and security risks in the target company's code to avoid post close surprises.


We are seeking an individual to join our resource management team, the operational backbone of Black Duck Audits.

A Day In The Life (Responsibilities):

  • Scheduling a team of 30+ Resources/Auditor as well as internal work for fast paced technical due diligence projects that span countries and/or geographies.
  • Interacting with our customers to obtain code transfer data and disperse it to the appropriate internal resource for audit creation.
  • Managing servers for the On-Demand Team.
  • Assessing and responding to critical situations during and outside normal business hours.
  • Other ad-hoc resource management responsibilities as required.
What You Bring (Qualifications):
  • At least 2 years' experience in IT/Software industry as a Resource Manager, Project Manager, Project Analyst, Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent course work.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Windows, Mac OS and Linux environments.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining an inventory of projects indicating timing, probability and resource needs
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and writing ability.
  • Experience tracking and analyzing resource loads per project.
  • Proficient with tools such as Excel and Salesforce.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. BMC On Demand)
  • Confidence documenting meeting results, action items; and producing periodic reports
