Overview

The Regional Sales Manager works in a regional territory of the contigous States and works primarily with specific vendors, dealers and end users that have been identified by SMFL. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Manager of the Construction Equipment Finance team.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $100,000 and $165,000. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.



Responsibilities

Developing leads through phone calls, emails, and personal visits with prospective customers and existing customers. Need ability to develop new relationships with dealers, manufacturers and end users. Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
From leads, identify opportunities that fit our business model/scheme and from those opportunities, make proposals and secure business.
Write written proposals, make quotes and communicate effectively with equipment dealers and end users.
Negotiate terms consistent with SMFL policies and procedures.


Qualifications

10 years of specialized finance.

Bank owned leasing company evironment similar to SMFL. Have relevant Construction EQuipment financing exposure and experience

BA/BS Required.

MS Suite of products plus TValue and use FIS AAF lease management system, TValue, White-Clark system. Minimum 25% travel expected.
