ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (Tenure-Track)

The Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT), University of Minnesota Medical School, is seeking a physician scientist with training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The Division invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in human immunology and molecular biology, clinical expertise in blood and marrow transplantation & cellular therapy, as well as independently obtained research funding. This position will help to further develop our BMT/CT Program's basic/translational research programs to funnel new ideas from bench to bedside. This individual will also participate in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care of patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital.

Laboratory space and a competitive start-up package are included. * M.D. and Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
* Extensive training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy
* Demonstrate excellence in patient care
* Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of Minnesota
* Must be able to pass credentialing

The Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT) Program at the University of Minnesota has been at the forefront of advances since performing the world's first successful BMT in 1968. Since then, our teams have performed more than 9000 BMTs. Our Program continues development in translational immunology, BMT and cellular therapy, and expand its portfolio of novel clinical trials.
