Analyst, Performance Measurement

The Performance Measurement group is responsible for calculating and analyzing the investment performance for NISA's portfolios, as well as maintaining the performance data required to claim compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). The Performance Measurement group collaborates with NISA's Portfolio Management, Client Services, and other cross functional groups to deliver investment performance and analytics on a wide array of investment strategies.

Leverage various tools to enhance and optimize performance analysis, data management and reporting
• Apply data management skills to ensure the integrity of data used for performance reporting and work with cross-functional teams to identify and remedy discrepancies
• Optimize the processes of producing, analyzing and presenting EAGLE performance results for end users to make business decisions
• Contribute and/or support senior members with quantitative analysis
• Perform ad hoc analysis or develop rapid response solutions to problems or processes
• Represent the Performance Measurement group in cross-functional projects involving various workstreams by providing business requirements, contributing to the solutions, and effectively communicating with highly technical peers, project managers and performance analysts

• Bachelor's degree required in a field requiring strong analytical and quantitative skills
• 3+ years of professional experience applying techniques and technologies such as statistical analysis (Excel VBA, R, Python), data management (SQL) and reporting (SSRS, Tableau)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in data management, reporting technology, project management, or the EAGLE Performance System preferred
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and assignments with limited supervision
• Self-motivated, proactive, and works well under pressure
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong analytical, problem recognition and resolution, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Achieved or willing to work toward a professional designation is preferred (i.e. CFA, CIPM, CAIA, etc.)
