About This Role:



The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) at Kansas State University invites applications for a clinical, term appointment as Anesthesia Emergency Clinician (AEC). The primary responsibility for this position will be to contribute to after-hours emergency care for VHC patients requiring general anesthesia. The AEC will work with senior faculty, house officers, technical staff, and veterinary students. The distribution of effort for the AEC will be predominately after-hours clinical service with the opportunity to contribute to lecture and laboratory teaching.

What You'll Need to Succeed:



Minimum Qualifications:



  • DVM degree or equivalent
  • Experience with general anesthesia and/or emergency practice in veterinary patients


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Continuing education or advanced training in emergency care and/or veterinary anesthesia is desirable but not a requirement for this position.
