Trainer - Accounting & Investments

The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members to join our Training and Professional Development team. Our primary goal is to provide technical and professional development training catered to the role and tenure of our employees. As a Training Specialist you support the design and delivery of technical training classes as well as the professional development and growth of our employees.

What you'll do:
Develop, maintain and deliver technical training classes focused on investments, products, and accounting
Manage the onboarding and orientation programs.
Provide technical training for Alternative products and Operational Teams within IMS.
Conduct needs and skills assessments across the segment.
Manage/coordinate/partner with HR as it relates to employee support and for professional development and engagement initiatives
Partner with management team, SME's, and vendors to support technical training and professional development.
Facilitate technical training and professional development programs as required.
Manage the training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasks.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications, and assisting operational teams as needed.
Identify needs and provide instructional design and curriculum.
Support online training initiatives.
Assist with external training programs, recommend courses, and coordinate training.
Build relationships with internal clients and act as consultant.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of fund administration, operations or training experience
Knowledge of instructional design, course development, distance learning, multi-media technologies and adult learning within financial services industry preferred
Knowledge of accounting applications such as Geneva, Investran, and InvesTier preferred
Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and client service focused
Strong technical knowledge, preferably within Alternative products
Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
Adaptable and willingness to learn new systems, concepts, and broaden knowledge in the industry
Project management experience
Detail-oriented, strategic and goal-oriented
Team player
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Adaptable, flexible, and ability to work under pressure
