Millwright/Machine Repair

Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Millwright/Machine Repair to be based out of Wayne, MI. Positions are available on 1ST Shift (M-F, 7:00AM-3:30PM), 2ND Shift (M-F, 3:30PM-12:00AM), and 3RD Shift (M-F 11:30PM-7:30AM). The Hourly wage rate ranges from $36.28 - $38.28. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery to support facility operations.

What you'll do:

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair all mechanical systems and associated equipment
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical systems, including: pumps, valves, and associated piping; mechanical power presses and associated support equipment; and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Utilize blueprints and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects
  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
  • Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
  • Must maintain production standards to meet internal and external customer demand
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of all paperwork, transactions, tags, etc.
  • Adhere to all Life Saving Rules, including: Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding/Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocols
  • Ensure Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are met daily
  • Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas


What you'll bring:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Journeyman classification preferred
  • One year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic math and verbal skills
  • Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery
  • Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends

Within 3 months, you'll:



  • Follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Lead, assist, and/or instruct employees in the performance of their duties, as requested
