As a Chief Engineer of Software Integration you will provide advanced technical leadership in high level specialty research and development in accordance with engineering standards and project scope. This position is a non-supervisory, technical role.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Conduct the research the necessary to be an advocate for new technologies/products that will enable the business. Identify and provide potential innovative solutions to complex issues. Act as a key influencer in technical decisions regarding new technology.
  • Collaborate in establishment of the technical base line and technical engineering vision. Help lead the transformation of the organization into modern approaches to development, integration, and test.
  • Interface with customers/suppliers to resolve complex technical issues to provide the business with innovative, industry leading solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship to all levels of the engineering organization. Supplies technical inspiration and leadership consultation to other engineers. Act as a technical advisor to Engineering leaders.
  • Researches, studies, and proposes use of new technologies to be used in the development of new and improved products
  • Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are resolved within the framework of company policies and procedures
  • Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support
  • Provide guidance to team members to ensure the appropriate engineering analysis is performed and documented
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredit Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Able to obtain a secret security clearance as required by job duties

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accredited Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering
  • Published articles, familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, Python, and SQL database in addition to embedded C/C++
