DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Financial Accounting Unit provides systemwide financial management, reporting, policy, procedures and administrative services in support of UC's mission. Additionally, Financial Accounting is involved in various initiatives to enhance the reporting and transparency of financial information. These efforts involve coordination and collaboration with local, campus, medical center, laboratory personnel at all levels. POSITION SUMMARY * Be a trusted business partner, provide Oracle functional expertise in Oracle business domains: FCCS and EDMCS. * Experience with month-end and fiscal year closing and accounting practices and standards * Provide support to users and assist with troubleshooting issues, and reviewing and testing Oracle updates * Update training documents and provide training as needed. Maintain end-to-end business process flows and conduct training as needed to support UC campuses. * Coordinate with business users, ITS, and managed services partner to manage and maintain finance related systems * Analyze solution design and create functional specifications for enhancements based on business/functional requirements. * Partner with ITS Operations Services to support month end and year end activities in Oracle FCCS. SALARY AND BENEFITS Salary: $109,000 - $145,000 Benefits: For information on the comprehensive benefits package offered by the University visit: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This position may be eligible for a on site, hybrid, or remote within California work arrangement.
