Job Summary We are seeking an Electrical Project Designer in our St. Louis, MO Office. The ideal person will be eager to demonstrate their technical design expertise and will thrive in an environment which challenges and inspires while assisting Senior Designers & Project Leads in client relationship development, attending progress meetings, and building relationships with project stakeholders. Responsibilities & Qualifications Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to the Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders

  • Maintain Design files, including AutoCAD/Revit

  • Perform cable calculations, lighting modelling

  • Ensure design checklist and technology standards are being followed.

  • Prepare or confirm all equipment selections using Introba selection procedures.

  • Coordinate electrical and mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e. Architects, Structural Consultants, Code Consultants, Geotechnical Consultants, etc.)

  • Review/supervise drafting, prepare/review markups.

  • Attend field reviews and meetings with clients.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering desired

  • Government, Healthcare, Education or Data Center experience desired

  • Minimum 3 years AutoCAD and LV, HV, control and lighting system experience

  • Ability to read Architectural, Structural, Electrical drawings with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to apply prescriptive requirements of electrical building services engineering codes.

  • Ability to perform accurate and detailed site surveys.

  • Revit MEP experience is desired.

  • Professional Engineer or EIT designations are highly desired.
