Location: Fullerton, CA

Work Schedule: Full time - 80 Biweekly Hours

Shift: 8-hour, Days

Under the general supervision of the Back Office Lead/Medical Office Manager, the Orthopedic Technician will assist the orthopedic physician in providing casts and/or limb stability, wound care, general patient education, and general nursing care to the maximum extent allowed by their certification and/or licensure.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Completion of an accredited orthopedic technical training program.
• 3 years in an ambulatory/acute care or orthopedic setting working directly in the treatment of the orthopedic patient.
• Current NBCOT certification.
• Current CPR (BLS) certificate.

Preferred qualifications:

• Meditech and Touchworks (Allscripts) experience.
• 4 years in an ambulatory/acute care or orthopedic setting working directly in the treatment of the orthopedic patient.
• NAOT certification.
