As a Project Manager in our Refuse business unit, you will have the opportunity to help lead us through high visibility projects that are key to our long-term strategic initiatives! Our organization is the leading-edge in our industry when it comes to the application of lean principles and industry 4.0 technology. As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our transformation projects (mid to large scale).

YOUR IMPACT

  • Responsible for understanding capabilities and priorities; develop and maintain positive relationships cross-functionally
  • Assess & mitigate risk, lead change through strategic initiatives
  • Create and maintain project documentation for project planning, requirements analysis, risk management, issues management, status reporting, project communication, and quality assurance.
  • Manages project scope, cost, timeline, and risk management.
  • Accepts and delegates authority, establishes priorities for work delegated to others.
  • Identify and coordinate all project scope change requests for approval.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and are consistent within the larger context of the project/program.
  • Ensure a smooth, effective project introduction and implementation by coordinating support requirement efforts with cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure initiative alignment with business vision, strategy, and deployment within company.
  • Deliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making process.
  • Effectively and consistently communicate overall project status.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies, and project issues quickly and effectively.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Four (4) plus years related project management experience

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • CAPM, PMP or related certification
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Office including MS Project
  • Training and experience in the Agile method of project management
  • Real-world lean training and experience - Emphasis on lean principles and tool application
  • Quick thinking and intuitive problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues
  • Inspiring, highly motivated, innovative and have a consistent track record of running concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple technical and business teams
  • Expert collaborator with the ability to fit in well with a team
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, managing matrixed organizations and working environments.
