Solvere is seeking a candidate for a full-time Planned Maintenance Specialist.

Job Description:

  • Develop Planned Maintenance System (PMS) using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis performed by NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I or II Certified Developers.
  • Develop Maintenance Requirements Lists (MRLs) using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis performed by NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I or II Certified Developers.
  • Develop Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis performed by NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I or II Certified Developers.
  • Submit products using the current approved Navy PMS Editor (NPE) for HM&E ship systems.
  • Develop Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) tasks
  • Work requires research, compilation, organization, and publication of technical data.
  • May be responsible for providing direction and peer training to incoming employees.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 6 years' experience in field.
  • Must have 6 years practical engineering experience for the operation, test, maintenance and repair of Naval Ship HM&E, Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment
  • Must have 2 years' experience preparing original technical documentation involving the operation, maintenance or testing of Naval Ship HM&E, Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment
  • Must have 2 years' experience developing PMS performed under an active NAVSEA 04 RCM Level I and/or II Certification.
  • Must be able to apply comprehensive knowledge and comprehension of technical drawings, test specifications, reports, naval messages, and equipment operating procedures to technical documentation in a straightforward and easily understood manner.
  • Must be able to follow applicable military specifications and best practices solutions.
  • Must possess excellent communication, writing, grammar, and customer service skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail with organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Desired Qualification:

  • Prior US Coast Guard experience.
  • Experience in US Coast Guard FLS, ACMS, CGLIMS is a plus
