Construction Operations Manager

Overview:

Our client, a well-known general contractor, is looking to add an Operations Manager to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing diverse construction teams and have exceptional leadership skills. This is a long-term, direct-hire role with our client located in the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple teams and projects from concept to close out simultaneously
• Collaborate with both construction professionals and clients
• Oversee budgets and schedules
• Mentorship of others

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Architectural, Construction Management, Engineering, and/or business) or equivalent experience required
• 10+ years' diverse experience in commercial construction and project management (Multi-family, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, etc.) required
• Knowledge of construction methods, managing budgets, schedules and building and maintaining client relationships required
• Effective leadership style and management of a professional environment required.
• Outstanding organization and time management skills required
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Plangrid, or similar management software preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with staff on all levels
• Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
