Job Description Summary

The Manager, Change Management will join the Change Management Center of Excellence and will be responsible for conducting impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, business readiness assessments, communication content and training materials. This role may also develop surveys, analyzing data and compiling summary report-outs. This individual will closely partner with the project team and varying change champions to drive program goals and individual behavior changes. This role may also oversee and manage external consultants.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and quick learner who can juggle multiple priorities, will proactively make connections with partners across the business, has good project management skills and can make decisions even when there are areas of ambiguity.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify stakeholder groups that will be most impacted by the intersections of multiple people, technology and process changes
  • Facilitate the collection of impacted stakeholder group information via standardized project tools / templates
  • Collect planned communications, engagements and change impacts via standardized tools / templates.
  • Map planned messaging across projects to ensure cohesive change stories to impacted stakeholder groups
  • Ensure reviewers and approvers are understood and documented to enable an efficient content distribution process (i.e., SMEs, HR, Legal, Business Leaders)
  • Provide weekly updates and escalate issues, as needed

  • Provide weekly RAG status to PM

  • Develop Change and Communications Road Map

  • Using the Change Management Center of Excellence's existing tools / templates, develop road map based on the output of impact assessments

  • Ensure tactics support moving people through all phases of the change curve

  • Document business change readiness criteria for the Project; include weekly update alongside RAG status for PM

  • Document mitigation strategies in the event user readiness falls behind key program milestones

  • Track progress toward change readiness criteria ensuring overall user readiness and report using a dashboard as needed

  • Draft leadership alignment, communications and training materials; coordinate reviews, revisions and approvals; partner with Customer to distribute / deliver materials

  • Assess effectiveness of Change Management plans by creating and delivering executive summary at the conclusion that captures results and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Manage the Change Management Center of Excellence SharePoint site (e.g., ensuring all materials are up to date and content is relevant)

  • Organize and facilitate four Change Management Community of Practice sessions across the organization

  • Onboard and consultants (as needed)

  • Manage change management shared inbox

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Psychology, Human Resources, Personnel Development, Change Management, English, Communications, Business, or Journalism is preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in change management
  • Experience leading change programs required
  • Must be a team player; able to shift priorities as business needs change
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in achieving successful outcomes on all activities, ability to exercise good judgment, adapt quickly and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
