Synopsys is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Applications/IT team who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and delivering business processes through our core application suite (i.e., Salesforce, Oracle CPQ). We are looking for a smart and passionate individual who will work closely with our internal IT team and interface with our key business stakeholders. This individual will have strong business acumen and is expected to participate in cross-functional efforts designed to improve effectiveness through process analysis, business process redesign, and ensure successful implementation of resulting system improvements. Throughout all projects and maintenance initiatives, the senior business analyst meets regularly with the business stakeholders and SMEs, project team, sales support, and enterprise technology to accomplish the objectives presented in the below description.
Requirements
* Strong background and experience supporting CRM applications in a high-tech environment
* Continuously engage with the business, technology, and the key stakeholders to stay informed of the customer/business needs.
* Exemplify agile principles, encourage best practices, and assist team to continue to develop and mature in agile methodologies.
* Ensures criteria for story and defects are entered into backlog ticketing system such as Jira.
* Maintains requirement documentation for reference (master documents)
* Collaborates well with the scrum master and the development team
* Hosts requirement grooming or dev breakout sessions when necessary
* Manages stories with the testers and aligns plans accordingly
* Refactor IT functional processes into solution requirements
* Align with Release Manager and Scrum Master on release plan coordination
* Identify, communicate and facilitate resolution to any production support, user requests or triaged support tickets
* Provide ownership for communication of the status of deliverables and timelines to interested parties proactively. Should be able to document issues thoroughly, maintain current status, and escalate issues appropriately.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
* IT Business Analyst background
* 5 years (minimum) of work experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable function - experience with conducting as-is process analysis through stakeholder interviews, identifying pain points, and recommending process improvements
* Experience working in agile delivery and teams (SCRUM) desired
* Demonstrated understanding of business process development and improvement initiatives
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task various projects and balance priorities
* Ability to work well either independently or as part of the wider team in geographically disparate locations
* Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $111,000 to 194,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
