Title: Physiatrist Opportunity (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) in Bradenton, Florida
Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a board certified or board eligible Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician) to join our integrated, multidisciplinary team of physicians supporting Manatee County.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified
- Must hold or be able to obtain an active Florida Medical License prior to start
- Provide expert level clinical care in PM&R specific evaluations, diagnoses and treatment including using telehealth modalities
- Call: 1:4; no nights
- 8-15 patients (in-patient) seen on an average day (depending on census)
- Participate in resident training/mentoring
- Utilize effective communication skills at all levels to enhance team functioning, patient care coordination, and leadership
- Provide clinical care for all general rehabilitation populations
- Serves as a clinical leader in emergencies
- Provides care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for health problems and promotes health
