The Legal Service Manager ("LSM") is a member of the SEI Legal & Compliance Department and will work with a team of attorneys and legal service managers who are responsible for providing legal advice and services to numerous SEI business teams to implement consistent and appropriate risk-based process for the development of new services across SEI platforms impacting banking and operations. Responsibilities will include the following, each of which shall be performed under the direction of an attorney: staying abreast of the regulatory landscape impacting platform services and have excellent relationship skills to coordinate and communicate with members of SEI's Legal & Compliance team as well as SEI's business teams, supporting and counselling the business teams on the various regulatory obligations and risks associated with operational requirements impacting the banking and operations offered on SEI platforms; working closely with other attorneys, senior LSMs and compliance personnel in the Legal department to ensure that new banking and operation services are implemented in accordance with applicable compliance programs and comply with applicable law and regulations impacting those services; escalating issues that fall outside of established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The LSM will be a member of Legal & Compliance Department and will report to the Managing Director/Attorney of the Banking, Operations and Regulatory Governance team.
