Position: CNC Machine Operator (2
nd Shift)
Location: Hartland, WI.
Compensation: $25+hr. pay will vary based on experience and skills.
Hours: 2:00 pm to 12:30 AM Monday through Thursday. Voluntary OT opportunities on Friday and Saturday.
Our facility is quiet, clean, and temperature-controlled.
Position Overview:
The CNC Machine Operator will primarily operate CNC Lathe
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reading G-code, adjusting speeds and feeds, and ability to make adjustments without support.
- Ability to read blueprints and access programs on a computer.
- Follow prints to meet customer specifications on each product.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometer, bore gauge, thread gauge, and depth gauge indicator.
- Frequently using hand tools to complete tasks.
- Communicate with cross-shift operators.
- Will assist in running the Vertical Machining Center
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities:
- Mechanical aptitude, solid blueprint reading skills.
- Strong time-management and communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
- Read conversational coding.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience operating CNC. Or combination of education and experience
- Navigate thru CNC controls.
- Reading G Code
