Will also be required to work all holidays. Pay: $19.50 per hour, plus shift differential for working night shift/weekend hours RESPONSIBLITIES: Routine Deliveries and Pick-ups to Hospitals and Other Primary Customers, Includes deliveries to the Blood Bank, Pharmacy, Purchasing, Operating Room, Loading Dock, etc. Obtain, prepare and inspect assigned vehicle at the beginning of each shift. Make all assigned deliveries and pick-ups promptly, efficiently and in a safe manner as follows: Pick up of unprocessed blood, whether at a mobile unit site or a relay stop at a hospital, to be brought back to the laboratory for processing. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma Valid driver's license from the state of Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware Be able to lift and carry, push or pull packages weighing up to 70 lbs This position is covered by the City of Philadelphia Emergency Regulation Governing the Control and Prevention of COIVD-19 Mandating Vaccines for Healthcare Workers and in Higher Education, Healthcare and Related Settings. This means that all individuals working in this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by no later than October 15, 2021. If you are unable to be vaccinated due to medical or religious reasons, you may qualify for an exemption.
