THE ROLE: Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be part of our talented delivery team in Jacksonville, Florida and apply your experience in network and security design, implementation, and troubleshooting in complex environments. We are a team of engineers who are passionate about technology, and we take pride in the high-quality solutions we design and implement for our customers. This role will require onsite presence for clients local to Jacksonville, FL. If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, come and join us!

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel up to 25% locally to client sites. It will be based in Jacksonville, FL Location.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of data/security networks
  • Working with junior members of the engineering team to successfully implement secure network solutions
  • Routing, switching, and security configuration and deployment in an enterprise environment
  • Provide network engineering consulting services, including assessment, design and implementation of secure networking environments
  • Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks
  • Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance


Required Skills:



  • Complex Arista route / switch OR wireless solutions experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience


Additional Desired Skills:



  • Cisco Route / Switch OR Wireless
  • Aruba Route / Switch OR Wireless
  • Firewall / VPN Solutions - Palo Alto / Cisco / Fortinet


Education and Experience:



  • 5+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
  • CCNP or CCIE certification
