THE ROLE: Associate Engineer

Presidio is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL.

SUMMARY: This is technical and analytical position supporting the client users and technology equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Enable or disable user accounts
• Install new computer, printers, copiers
• Provide troubleshooting functions including remote and user desk-side support
• Replacement of computer hardware including entire PCs or Pc hardware components
• New workstation setup and disabling user's rights and permissions for network access or application servers
• Learn and assist users with the in-house calendaring system
• New software code testing for in house developed system
• Special projects
• Create update and log trouble tickets into Footprints
• Perform troubleshooting escalations according to documented procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree and/or military experience
• 1+ years' work or education experience maintaining and troubleshooting in a user support capacity
• Knowledge of Windows 10
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Knowledge of distributed computer systems operations, virtual computers, terminology, procedures and equipment
• Ability to consult with users and assess and determine user needs and requirements
