ROLE SUMMARY:
Support exploration and expansion of Hershey's Category Expansion opportunity areas with focus on Sweet and Salty via data and consumer insights
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and prioritize Sweet and Salty innovation concepts. Execute and track live, in-market tests to measure innovation concept performance and potential to scale nationally.
Support Manager in other activities to drive Sweet and Salty portfolio strategy
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translate viable opportunities into testable commercial concepts
Support development of innovation business case and secure leadership alignment to commercialize
Develop, execute, and manage in market tests to gauge viability of commercial concepts
Monitor key milestones and success metrics
Lead (as BCO) and actively participate in team meetings
Identify impediments and potential solutions to grow Sweet and Salty portfolio
Track Sweet and Salty category performance
Communicate across functions to ensure alignment
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience, etc.):
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Strong analytical skills and experience using multiple retail and consumer data sources (e.g. IRI, NPD, Panel, 84.51)
Ability to translate data and insights into actionable commercial solutions
Action oriented and energized by fast timelines
Ability to adapt to uncertainty, new processes, and ways of working
Strong communication skills and collaborative team player
