SHIFT TYPE: 24-on / 48-off

Compensation: $58,200 starting salary

We are hiring Industrial Firefighter EMTs with a passion for firefighting and a demonstrated commitment to cultivating a positive, collaborative work environment.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, trains for and participates in duties and related responsibilities for controlling and extinguishing fires; rescuing persons endangered by structural fires; preventing fire by reducing or eliminating potential fire hazards; responding to and providing assistance for medical aid calls, vehicle accidents, and Hazmat incidents.

These positions are considered a safety sensitive position and is subject to both, the Company's and the Client's Industrial Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy, which includes: pre-employment testing, post-accident testing, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing, return to duty testing and follow-up testing.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Certifications

  • Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate.
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy. DUI within last 5 years is disqualifying.
  • Must possess a state issued, International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or Fire Service Professional Qualifications System (ProBoard) certifications as a minimum: Firefighter II and Hazardous Materials-Operations.
  • Must possess a state issued or National Registered EMT-B.
  • Must possess a current CPR/AED certification.
  • Physical Agility Fitness Test (Initial Hire and Annually).
  • Completion of NIMS ICS-100, 200, 700, and 800 at time of hire.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Transportation Security Administration's "Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) card (if applicable).
  • Must pass FBI fingerprint-based criminal history records check to obtain/maintain an Industrial/customer security badge.
  • Must be able to work any shift assigned, including nights, holidays and weekends to include scheduled and unscheduled overtime and as needed on an emergency basis.
