IT Semester #1 Internship with SDB / TC Networks: Job description: We are looking for two students for this internship. Interns will shadow and work alongside our TC Networks' Technicians and Network Engineers to assist with day to day operations, maintenance and upcoming projects happening in the district. We service all 12 schools, the Kolak Education Center and several other maintenance buildings. This job will require some (in-town) travel so applicants must have a valid drivers license and their own mode of transportation. Duration and hours: This internship will take place from Monday, October 17th to Friday, December 16th. Each school day interns will work from 6:30am - 7:30am before class starts then we will schedule additional hours depending on what the intern's class schedule looks like. Job duties may include but are not limited to: - Lifting up to 50lbs - Imaging computers - Handling e-cycle - Storage organization - Reassembling classrooms and computer labs - Working in our network closets - Unboxing items - Doing asset tags and inventory - Working alongside our Facilities Department - Assisting with Chromebook repairs - Device returns and distribution - Installing hardware - Assisting with large scale projects - Other duties as assigned Once your application is reviewed, we will schedule interviews the first or second week of October.
