Have what it takes to be a Client Sales Intern at Echo? Spend your summer learning all the in and outs of a busy sales team! After your training, you will be partnered with a coach/mentor within our Client Sales team. You will focus on your specific team but have an opportunity to learn what all the sales teams do. You will spend the summer learning both the logistics industry and the full process of becoming a rock star sales rep.

We foster a passionate, driven sales force in the 3PL space, the fastest growing segment within transportation. Our reps stop at nothing to close business, offer solutions and solve problems for our clients' diverse shipping needs. You will learn from the best.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to start June 5, 2023 (9 week program)

  • Will be a Senior in fall 2023

  • Able to work hybrid (3+ days) at our Dallas, TX office

  • You desire to have a Sales Career

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills

  • Ability to cold call with persistent and assertive style

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment that requires problem solving and decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE?

  • Partner closely with your mentor on all duties and projects throughout the summer

  • Build, maintain and manage account relationships

  • Profile and analyze accounts to overcome any objections and generate quality opportunities

  • Present the value of Echo's services to prospective and existing clients

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world class customer service on every shipment

  • Work in conjunction with your mentor to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion

  • Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance and the resolution of any mid-transit issues
