Job Summary Information Technology Services (ITS) at the MCCCD is looking to add an experienced Software Developer with excellent problem-solving skills to the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications development team. This position creatively develops and supports PeopleSoft applications for the Student Information System (SIS), Human Capital Management System (HCM), Financial Management System (FMS), as well as supports the integrations with external systems. Essential Functions 50% - Designs, develops, tests and implements new solutions and integrations with external applications using PeopleSoft PeopleTools 20% - Resolves production issues and communicates resolution to appropriate stakeholders; maintains a high customer satisfaction rating while working help desk tickets to support end users and fix defects 20% - Creates critical documents such as technical designs, migrations, code reviews, issues replication, weekly status reports; attends issue resolution or design discussion meetings; supports cut-over activities during weekends/holidays as needed 10% - Trains/mentors junior developers; performs other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent and one (1) year of experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools. OR Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent and three (3) years of experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools. OR High School diploma/GED and five (5) years of experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools. Desired Qualifications A. Experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools: Application Designer, Peoplecode, Application Packages, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, ExceltoCI, Related Events, Workflow, JSON Builder, DMS, SQR, COBOL B. Experience building bolt on applications or tools in PeopleSoft applications using Fluid responsive design C. Experience creating new custom web services using Integration Broker, SOAP or REST based; including one external integration with PeopleSoft using REST/SOAP web services D. Experience working with databases, including SQL and relational database concepts E. Basic functional understanding of at least one of ERP application like HCM, SIS or FMS F. Understanding of PeopleSoft internet architecture and system level details G. Understanding of PeopleSoft security - both role level security and row level security, including an understanding of IB security architecture Special Working Conditions This position is approved to work 100% virtually MCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas.
