IAS is seeking an experienced professional as its new Director of Portfolio Advisory Services. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals that provide:

1) Consultative end-client case analysis & support for accounts with $1M or more in investable assets;

2) Investment, tax, and wealth planning support for Advisors and colleagues on our Sales & Engagement teams;

3) Advisor and end-client engagement through virtual/in-person meetings, and at conferences.

The Director of Portfolio Advisory Services leads a critical team that supports Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis and consulting services. These services typically are provided to our largest clients and will include analyzing models and client portfolio holdings, portfolio design, and the recommendation of appropriate solution sets. The Director of Portfolio Advisory Services oversees processes and services with significant business impact, sometimes involving cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

- Manage the team's day-to-day activities and provide reporting on activity and impact

- Lead the design and ultimate deployment of tools to help drive more efficient team operations

- Serve as a subject matter expert and stay current on all aspects of IAS Investment Solutions

- Serve as an IAS liaison to SEI's Investment Management division, fully leveraging internal asset management capabilities to meet the varied needs of Advisors and their end-clients

- Actively engage with financial advisors to support business development initiatives and client prospecting efforts

- Contribute to unit-wide initiatives that require your team's input (creation of marketing collateral, evaluation of effectiveness of existing resources, etc.)

- Maintain a working knowledge of the SEI Market View, our outlook for returns (CMAs), Investment Philosophy and approaches to asset allocation and portfolio construction

What you bring to the table:

You have:

- 10+ years of investment experience, including elements of both investment research/analysis & client interaction

- Management experience and the ability to lead without leaning on hierarchy/title (strongly preferred)

- Strong investment acumen, particularly related to asset allocation and portfolio construction

- Excellent communication and proven presentation skills, both in one-on-one interactions and group presentations, effectively communicating the value IAS provides clients from an investment solution and service perspective

- A CFP, CFA or advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred)

- A Series 65

You are:

- Collaborative in your approach to leadership, work and problem-solving

- Experienced with investment software/platforms FactSet, Morningstar, and Bloomberg

- Familiar with a wide range of asset classes and investment strategies in both public and private markets

- Credible and able to lead a team of senior professionals in serving as the primary investment resources for clients

- Able to communicate complicated concepts clearly and comfortable presenting to clients and larger audiences

- Able to identify client concerns and objectives and to work collaboratively to address them

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail

- Willing to work in an open-office environment
