We're looking for experienced Security IP Field Applications Engineers to join our team.

Does this sound like a good role for you?

In this role you would be the technical business driver responsible for providing pre-sales technical support for Synopsys' DesignWare Security IP. You would manage the pre-sales technical interactions and customer communications, presenting solutions and addressing customers' technical questions, enabling them to make informed decisions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicants will have a BSEE, MSEE preferred
  • 5+ years relevant
  • Good understanding of AES, RSA, ECC, HDCP, MACsec or other cryptography algorithms
  • Experience with security functions such as secure boot, key generation, side channel protection is desirable
  • Good communication and presentation skills, and experience working with customers in a pre-sales process
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in multiple stages of an SoC design, from architecture definition down to RTL (Verilog) coding
  • Understanding of security software algorithms and development
  • Understanding of HDMI, PCIe and CXL interfaces
  • Good written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
  • Ability to conduct technical meetings, presentations, seminars, product demonstrations, and training to customers and to the sales team
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $117,000 to $204,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
