Entertainment Team Member, Part-Time, Easton, PA

Starting hourly rate of $14.50/hour, must have weekend availability.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As an Entertainment Team Member, you will ensure our guests have a rewarding and memorable experience that will keep them coming back again and again. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating quality interactive programs (manufacturing and Cafe stage shows), roving entertainment, character interaction (Tip & Pip) within the Crayola Experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Facilitate and perform the crayon manufacturing process & Cafe stage Shows to CE guests. *


  • Ensure that the Crayola crayon materials are well stocked and in working order for next show. *
  • Cover other attraction areas as needed.
  • Safely operate machinery and learn to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to ensure quality products are being produced.
  • Contact Maintenance technician when mechanical assistance is required and inform supervisor of status.
  • Facilitates art projects and activities with guests
  • Assists in workshops, special events and outreach activities as needed
  • Entertains with Roving cart around facility to entertain and educate guests on Crayola products.
  • Interacts with guests wearing Crayola mascot characters (Tip & Pip)


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for the operation.
  • Fun, outgoing personality. Ability to engage guests, children, and families in an upbeat, positive manner.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience in a museum, educational setting, guest service center or family attraction helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal and guest service skills required.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to guest service and programming procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple functions and multitask.
