Job Summary:
Manufacturing Products that Matter!
This role as a Gage Set Up , in our Gage Room, is to support the assembly and component manufacturing areas by receiving, organizing and processing gage setup requests in a timely and precise manner.

Our 2^nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am (four x 10/hour shifts).
You will also earn a 15% shift differential while working on the 2^nd shift.

On a typical day as a Gage Set Up , you will:

• Organize and process gage set-up requests
• Read and interpret print instructions and indicator information
• Load materials and monitor gaging appropriately
• Trouble shoot operating difficulties
• Maintain necessary paperwork
• Perform mathematical calculations for machine and materials
• Ensure that all safety rules and regulations are followed

What skills we are looking for from you as a Gage Set Up :

• Any previous experience in manufacturing gage work is preferred
• Good communication skills and you like to work as part of a team
• Ability to read and understand complex written instructions
• The ability to diagnose machine problems and make recommendations to correct them
• You can use, or can easily learn to use, a variety of specialized tools
• Basic math skills and understand the decimal system
• Some vision requirements are essential
• Able to carry out job functions that include standing, sitting, lifting, carrying, ending and stooping.
