Division Overview Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries. Job Overview Pay Rate $24.00 plus 10% shift premium Work Schedule - 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday - Friday (must be willing and able to train on day shift (Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm) for a few weeks) Retention Bonus Paid Vacation 11 Paid Holidays Paid sick days Medical, Life, Dental and Vision Plans 401 (K) Program with company matching $100 Annual Safety Shoe Reimbursement A Day In The Life Operate machinery and equipment according to work instructions Follow all safety rules and lock out tag out procedures for self and others Precisely weighing and loading raw materials into mills Milling, mixing, screening, and spray drying operations Measurement of in-process properties and decision making based on results Participate in 5S program and perform routine housekeeping to keep area clean Perform quality control, and report to supervisorany irregularities in production quality and on equipment needing repair, maintenance, or adjustmentsproblems Comply with all safety and health regulations Any other duties as assigned What will help you thrive in this role?
