Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As a Technical Solutions & Content Writer, you will be a valued member of Cadmus' Technology & Innovation Services Group (TISG) working closely with and collaborate across offices, divisions and specific business areas to provide an overall technical vision for specific solutions faced by current and future client technical and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

    Ability to evaluate client business needs and determine a technical solution in support of those requirements with commercial software, custom applications, and cloud infrastructure
  • Support the internal business development teams with technical writing responses to our current and future clients
  • Work closely with the Cadmus IT team to development and create rapid prototypes to address our client's business needs
  • Follow technology trends and stay informed of the needs of government clients. Key trends include application development, data analytics, business intelligence, cloud services, and related security technologies which support these trends


Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree, preferably in Technology, Communications or Journalism
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a relevant role
  • Strategic mindset and sound technical judgement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in clear business terms for our stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with SMEs in the proposal process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous proposal management &/or experience across the government sector is highly desired
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen

Additional Information:

Position will be DC/MD/VA centric. Remote work is acceptable with occasional visits to Arlington, VA office.
