Marketing Specialist

This position will have direct involvement in developing and deploying marketing communications and materials in Chinese market. From translations to creating linguistic and culturally relevant marketing materials to promote UnitedHealthcare branding and to support Chinese member with in-language materials to help them better understand our services and benefits. Also, act as the key person in our partner marketing strategy and coordination and to manage community outreach, retail events/seminar, and event sponsorship. Support supervisor on new campaigns initiatives and business development projects.

Responsibilities:



  • Working with supervisor and team members for planning, creating, and producing Chinese marketing promotional and communications materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives from each department.
  • Support member communication campaigns.
  • Develop Chinese marketing content - translation, trans-creation of advertisements, tailored to the specific channel, and audience requirements.
  • Perform post-campaign evaluation of communications processes, identify lessons learned and recommend changes for future campaigns based on results.
  • Perform as our key person in liaison with local team leads and other channels with local Chinese IPAs and Chinese organizations in managing sponsorship and event coordination.

Required Qualifications:



  • BA or MA degree or 1-3 years of equivalent Marketing work experience
  • 3+ years of marketing experience or healthcare experience
  • Ability to speak and write English and Chinese fluently
  • Intermediate experience with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Preferred Qualifications:



  • Fluency in speaking Mandarin and/or Cantonese dialects is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Graphics/ Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
