We seek a candidate with a record of publication; an interest in obtaining external funding who will establish and maintain strong research programs; participate actively in the development of innovative interdisciplinary programs and research; and, teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Within the undergraduate curriculum, we expect this individual to contribute to the teaching of archaeology courses and intersect with course offerings in heritage studies, as well as participate in graduate teaching, as appropriate. This includes introductory Anthropological Archaeology (ANTH 3) and upper division courses including those emphasizing the candidate's research interests and methodological skills. Individuals with a history of and commitment to mentoring students from underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applications must be submitted online. An initial review of the completed applications will take place on December 1, 2022. Some candidates may not have substantial past activities. If that is the case, we recommend focusing on future plans in your statement.
