The Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital (https://www.rchsd.org/) are currently in an exciting period of growth and expansion. As part of our ongoing pursuit of clinical innovation and scientific discovery, we are recruiting exceptionally talented Academic Clinical Neonatologists. The Division has a well-established ACGME-accredited Fellowship, NIH-funded investigators, numerous ongoing and multicenter clinical trials, and ongoing collaborations with many other centers across the nation and within UC San Diego. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the Division of Neonatology's mission of delivering high-quality care, teaching, engaging in scholarly activities, and promoting an environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusivity among faculty, students, and staff. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Candidates must have a MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree, in health-related fields. Candidates also must be Board certified/Board eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in the subspecialty of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Additional qualifications
