Responsibilities
BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for managing all aspects (plan, execute and distribution) of multimedia related projects, for consumer and trade-facing, online and onboard advertising and marketing efforts, working closely with business owners, multimedia developers and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on budget and on schedule. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all video and print production related work of suppliers and agencies including casting, location selection, filming, and editorial. Work closely with the ships' Hotel Directors and assigned ship representatives to secure on board staff assistance and location arrangements required for each production. Act as NCL Marketing representative in video shoots and all digital signage installations and deployments. Responsible for filing and tracking all talent, stock, VO, and music licensing agreements and usage rights. Maintain strong relationships with creative talent - producers, production companies, directors, animators, performers - and align them to the right project. Oversee all bids and procure products and services needed for execution of projects. Review all production estimates and ensures NCL is receiving the most cost efficient and competitive rates before presenting estimates to the Director of Production, VP, Creative Services and Business Owners for approval. Ensure all charges are tracked and provided with a production cost summary against estimates for each job completed. Ensure all projects delivered are within specified and agreed upon budgetary guidelines. Determine the use parameters for talent and music needs for each project. Oversee talent and music negotiations conducted by the advertising agencies or production companies on behalf of NCL. Maintain in-house files for all related records, tracks renewal dates and oversees any renegotiations or replacement contracts as needed. Manage resources for assigned multimedia projects. Work with business owners, the creative services team and vendors to ensure projects requirements (i.e. shooting board, design, technical specs, and budget) are being met. Perform other job-related duties, as needed. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Broadcast, Fine Arts, Communications or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the broadcast production field, either in an advertising agency or in a corporate environment is required. Experience producing or overseeing physical production, postproduction, and/or animation. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Knowledgeable in the latest production techniques, sources, production house capabilities, cost factors and talent issues. Working knowledge of video-based and web-related project management skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different NCL departments, vendors and agencies. Solid decision-making skills to ensure that all video/photography production projects are meeting objectives, schedule deadlines, and adhere to budgetary guidelines. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
