Responsibilities

BASIC PURPOSE: The purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity of product information across the organization and proactively assess and recommend product changes or new offerings that will generate results such as improved ROI, guest satisfaction or overall brand health. Will require partnership and extensive collaboration with all areas of the business including operations teams to understand product offerings, identify opportunities, and set the strategy to optimize results for product offerings.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop process to proactively gather product information across the organization, specifically onboard product offerings, to inform and maintain integrity of information both internally and externally.

Maintain integrity of product information across all channels and throughout organization. Act as source of the truth for all product offerings including ship facts, protocols, competitive landscape, and other product offerings

Develop and leverage standard reports or frameworks to maintain and review company and competitive products to provide easy and accessible information.

Build out strategy for the future of product offerings by leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities for evaluation, gathering research to inform trends, and aligning to organizational goals and objectives to achieve results.

Cultivate relationships across all areas of the organization and influence inclusion of Product Marketing for overall impact to guest experience.

Develop processes to analyze, assess and proactively enhance product offerings.

Proactively assess product offerings by developing new ways to analyze data to determine success of product offerings and champion potential changes to maximize results through the organization.

Drive insights for key product offerings as foundation of differentiated messaging.

Drive strategy for brand recommendations for dry docks by gathering cross-functional inputs, recommending new ways to analyze data, and assess opportunities to make informed recommendations for optimal results.

Act as main source of product knowledge and tools.

Develop thorough product marketing briefs including claim development and substantiation for company-wide issuance.

Develop point of views, presentation materials and business cases in support of various initiatives.

Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Operations or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and experience. Master's degree and onboard ship experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in operations or marketing preferably with onboard ship experience. Cross functional experience preferred with leisure or hospitality. Experience working with executives and senior leadership team.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Requires knowledge of cruising, operations and ability to leverage analytics to inform work. Ability to think critically is imperative in order to overcome challenges, develop new ideas and improve KPIs. Must be able to build compelling points of view and deliver those to various audiences. Strong proven organization and project management skills. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and build rapport. Entrepreneurial focus and desire to create opportunities grow businesses and exceed expectations. Ability to easily adapt to and manage change and to thrive in a busy environment with deadlines.
