Real World Responsibilities:

During your time with us you will:

  • Work with our purchasing team, suppliers and plant materials teams to manage expediting and backordered parts from supplier through receipt of materials and delivery to point of consumption.
  • Collect shortage information and update internal tracking systems, providing visibility to all appropriate parties on all materials in the expedite process.
  • Participate in the daily Buyer Tier 2 meeting, actively participating in the exchange of information regarding part shortages and expedite information.
  • Support operations within the materials team, focusing on material and information flow from supplier site through delivery to the point of consumption.

As part of our team we will:

  • Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career

Must haves:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or similar field or graduated within last two years
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 3 months in Moses Lake, WA
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must be able to excel in a team environment and be highly productive while working independently.
  • Computer System savvy - must be able to quickly learn new applications, and be highly proficient in Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft applications.
  • Must be able to work with team members at all levels of the organization both at Terex and at supplier sites.
  • Studies must include Supply chain management, Material flow, Manufacturing Systems and Inventory Control are all a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

The compensation for this position is $22/hr for undergraduate interns and $24/hr for graduate or returning interns. This position is eligible for holiday pay, but is not eligible for medical benefits.
