JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manager is responsible for the coordination, alignment and execution support of all Nestle continuous improvement initiatives within own Factory. Directly reports to Factory Manager and functionally reports to Market TPM Regional Manager and Market Manager.

The role acts as the center of expertise and single point of contact for continuous improvement in the factory. This role is accountable for Implementation Strategy and activities, and Industrial Engineering responsibilities within the factory.

Develop, align, cascade and execute the Factory Performance Improvement Strategy:

1- Co-develop Factory improvement strategy that considers:

- Business priorities

- Loss Analysis / External Benchmarks

- 3 years planned progression of KPI's, People and work place transformation (Factory Vision).

2- Gain alignment from the FLT / Key Stakeholders around the 3 years plan and cascade across all factory levels (communication strategy).

3- Partner with Factory Leadership Team and Local Leadership Teams to translate the factory improvement strategy into Execution Plans to deliver the expected results that include:

- Rollout plans

- Other factory key enablers (Digital, CAPEX,..etc)

- Key improvement projects

- Key competency building activities

- External support requirements

4- Support the execution of the improvement plan by:

- Ensures proper governance / routines at multiple leadership levels to track execution progression and improvement sustainability

- Spend time on shop floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities.

- Provide guidance and feedback to leadership and align on corrective actions to adjust execution plans

Develop Critical Competence within Key Members of Factory

- Develop Factory Leadership Team / Pillar Owners ability to identify opportunities to transform workplace, people, and behaviors to deliver results through factory floor visits

- Partner with HR / Training & Learning Pillar to establish and evaluate robustness of function/pillar capability plan

- Train and coach Factory Leadership Team / Pillar Owners on needed system competences based on development needs and escalate for external support as needed

Assist Factory in establishing the people and structure to support rollout plan

Evaluates maturity of key systems and provides feedback to functional / pillar leads

Responsible for development, competence building, and health of Industrial Performance systems & routines, including: Labor utilization studies, data reliability, SAP, Poka/Master Data, Planning Rate Reviews

Relationships: VP of Manufacturing, Market TPM Manager, Market Manager, Factory Manager, other relevant Function Heads in Market. Factory Leadership Team members, all Pillar Leaders in the Factory, and all Market Pillar leaders.

Suppliers, Packaging material vendors and Customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required

3-5 Years Minimum, Preferred 3 Years of direct production/maintenance floor experience

-3-5 Years' Experience working with factory management/leadership team

-Success in Leading & Developing cross functional teams

-3-5 Years' experience of project management, loss intelligence, & advanced problem solving

-3-5 Years' experiencein Goal Alignment/TPM

-Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and business connections

-Experience in developing Line labor standards, Budget preparation/review, and line capability/speed studies

- Advanced Problem Solving capabilities

- Effective analytical skills (Capacity Analysis, etc.)

- Strong understanding of Change Management

- Strong competence on Continuous Improvement Guide (CIG) and the Organization Structure (OS) framework for Manufacturing

- Ability to influence others

- Project Management competence

- Understanding of Basic Finance & Value Creation

- Knowledge of key data systems (SAP/Poka preferred)
