The Middle Office Team supports Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Banks, Money Managers and the SEI Wealth Network by providing exceptional administrative services to high-net-worth clients. Middle Office Regional Consultants must have a strong client oriented approach and should possess an understanding of the mutual fund and securities business and have a strong willingness to learn the investment management operations business. Middle Office Regional Consultants are dedicated to providing the absolute highest level of service, back office support, and personal account management to clients within the Advisor, Enterprise and Wealth channels. SEI is seeking individuals with the superior client service skills necessary to meet client expectations and support our goal of 100% client satisfaction. As part of the quality control team you will have a direct impact on SEI Private Trust Company operations by ensuring exceptional transaction quality for our clients. The team is responsible for checking the work of the Middle Office Regional Teams which support the Advisor Network. Quality control administrators must have a client-oriented approach and will need to work closely with members of the Middle Office Regional Service Teams and other SEI Private Trust Company teams to coordinate client investment activities. They should possess an understanding of the mutual fund and securities business and have a strong willingness to learn the investment management operations business. Career progression could range from Operations team leader, to service and/or sales positions, product development roles, project management of new technology initiatives, as well as additional SEI Private Trust Company opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Review,analyze, and enter client information and transactions into multiple systemsincluding Trust 3000, NxAS, Trust Office, Business Builder, Advisor Portal and Filenet Imaging Systems in order to fulfill monetary and non-monetary needs for high-net-worth client accounts.
  • Interpret monetary requests to determine the correct course of action. This requiresan understanding of the high net worth client's goals and objectives aswell an understanding of SEI's guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide the highest level of quality possible when completing a client request.
  • Maintainthe highest level of confidentiality and privacy.
  • Appropriatelyidentify errors, provide feedback, identify trends and/or contributingfactors, and recommend solutions.
  • IdentifyAdvisor related processing issues to ensure accurate completion of the submitted request and provide value added servicing.
  • Trainother administrators on Operational responsibilities once sufficient knowledge is gained.
  • Research,analyze and resolve events on the Trust 3000 system. This entailsutilizing a number of tools, systems and departments outside of the MiddleOffice.
  • Monitorvarious work queues and adjust resources as necessary to complete all items by internal and external cutoff times
  • Learnall facets of the Middle Office Operations including new account set-up,distributions, receipts, trade processing, model changes, and monetaryrequests which include detailed multi-step processes.
  • Participate in departmental projects to improve current processes and/or systems.
  • Occasionally provide overviews of Operations functions and systems to RIA clients andprospects.
  • Calladvisors when more information is needed

What you bring to the table:

  • B.S/B.A. in Business, ccounting or Finance preferred.
  • Strong dedication to qualitycustomer service.
  • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a high volume environment,
  • Ability to grasp complexconcepts, multi-task and be detail-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be a team player with anability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access for Windows
