Massage Therapist- Per Diem Home Care

We are searching for a Massage Therapist to provide massage therapy to patients in accordance with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Plan of Care. Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff members and family members on these programs.

• Hours: Per Diem
• Shift: Day shift; 8:00am-4:30pm
• Location: Visiting Nurse Association - Fairhaven, MA
• Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Must be graduate of massage training school that is AMTA approved.
• Currently registered in accordance with local and state laws as a Massage Therapist in both MA and RI.
• Two years recent (within the past five years) experience in acute, long-term care or home care/hospice, with at least one year in hospice or homecare preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and have demonstrated patient teaching skills.
• Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft programs require

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
