Shift Overview:

  • Openings on 2nd Shift
    • 2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm; overtime is worked prior to shift, with potential Saturday overtime

Summary of Job Description

The position, Painter B, is responsible for mixing and applying epoxy and urethane coatings to products to protect exterior surfaces.

Essential Functions

  • Inspect all parts and units to be painted
  • Apply class B and C paint to commercial vehicles and parts
  • Repair minor flaws and paint defects by wet sanding and buffing
  • Clean and maintain paint booth
  • Clean and maintain paint guns
  • Complete rework as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Regular attendance required
  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent education

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

  • Ability to perform twisting, turning, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling motions
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)-steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, vest

Work Environment

Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold for extended periods of time. This position is regularly exposed to vibration and loud noises.
