As the Director, Strategic Projects and Sales Optimization for US Group Health (USGH), you will work alongside the Senior Vice President of Sales Operations & Performance (USGH) and act as strategic advisor for one of the largest businesses within Teladoc Health.You will demonstrate a track record of exceptional partnering across a wide array of internal business groups, agencies, executive stakeholders, and execution partners. You will display a high degree of accountability with willingness to take measured risks and set bold goals. You will possess a data-driven mindset, with strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished business leader with a rare ability to blend technical, operational, and creative disciplines. They are highly skilled in analyzing large datasets, deriving business conclusions, and illustrating findings in a visual format that effectively conveys insights with context. They will lead business processes and will be looked upon to support the organization by creatively and enthusiastically managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will display hard skills in strategic thinking and content creation by way of a deep understanding of the business performance and growth expectations, be able to perform financial analysis, create effective communications, and be able to distill concepts into tailored messages for various audiences (executives, USGH team etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of complex, strategic data analysis through integration of data from a variety of internal and external information sources.
  • Build key performance metrics and dashboards that help sales and marketing management focus on performance drivers.
  • Develop and/or improve operating mechanisms for us to align most effectively with our internal stakeholders
  • Identify novel content, business views for SVPs leveraging the open access into various business functions (MMR, MBR, Pipeline Review, Forecasts)
  • Work closely with team to translate our Sales Operating Plan, targets and communication elements (leader content, team content, Op Co Content)
  • Work with teams to build the integrated growth strategies tracking dashboard.
  • Pro-actively identify gaps and play the hub for operations enabling quicker more efficient decision making
  • Collect and analyze sales tools and deliverables associated with this data, but not limited to reports, presentations, dashboards, and infographics.
  • Create and design reports and analysis of sales performance and metrics for executive management, and others as required.
  • Problem-solve, anticipate issues/concerns, troubleshoot problems, and proactively institute creative solutions
  • Enthusiastically engage and motivate others

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Chief of Staff, Business Operations and/or similar roles is required
  • Sales operations experience is required
  • Experience in health care and/or technology is a plus
  • Experience successfully navigating in a large, complex and highly matrixed organization
  • Experience building the business communication elements and content to support improved communications within and across teams
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access), and SQL or other database tools for research and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce
  • Proven aptitude for building systematic solutions to multidisciplinary business problems
  • Attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills, and a data-driven mindset.
  • Outstanding facilitation, collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and strong executive presentation development and delivery skills

The base salary range for this position is $170,000K - $185,000K. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
