Communications Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Serves as a senior technical advisor to architects, designers, engineers, customers, and management on all aspects of wireless communications. Applies advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise using full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction and mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with analyzing and assessing systems for prototype installation into existing DoD environment

  • Knowledge of how to repair, install, and maintain mobile or stationary radio transmitting, broadcasting, and receiving equipment, and two-way radio communications systems used in cellular telecommunications, mobile broadband, ship-to-shore, and aircraft-to-ground communications

  • Ability to provide communications operation, telecommunications operation, and maintenance support

  • Ability to plan, design, troubleshoot, and implement new or advanced communication technologies

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with supporting client operations

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for briefing and documentation

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
