The Opportunity

The U.S. Group Health (USGH) B2B content team develops stories, concepts content and oversees execution of content to communicate high-value virtual care solutions, differentiated capabilities and expert perspectives.

We are looking for a proven content marketing leader with experience leading a team through concepting, message development, strategy, and execution of a continuum of sales and marketing content across the buyer's journey. You will lead talented content marketers responsible for planning and overseeing creation of high value content designed to accelerate achievement of target audience awareness, perception, consideration, and purchase (new clients and existing clients) and recommendation to purchase (influencers).

Our content team tell stories that reach and engage buyers, specifically high-impact data stories - then works to find creative, breakthrough ways to bring it to life in content in partnership with solutions and segments marketers, plus creative and brand teams.

Cross-marketing and cross-functional collaboration are key to success. Your network will include segment marketers, campaign leads, solutions marketing partners. creative teams and agencies, and internal subject matter experts. Reporting to the VP, U.S. Group Health B2B Marketing, you will be a leader within B2B and Teladoc Health's global corporate marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of content developers focused on generating and maintaining message maps, concepting net content, and executing campaign and sales enablement content to engage target B2B audiences and fuel buying conversations.
  • Articulate B2B marketing stories, including writing and concept visualization, as "player/coach" that can contribute and guide the content team to bring our best solutions, thought leadership and client stories to life
  • Together with campaign and segment leads, you will also outline plans for and oversee production of content speaking to our capabilities and expertise, leveraging a mix of modern digital marketing and digital promotion assets
  • Contribute to articulating the content strategy for and producing updates to solutions and capabilities content on the Teladochealth.com website
  • Together with our solutions marketing team, bring data stories, solution offerings and core competencies to life by creating clear, compelling, and engaging assets for campaigns and selling conversations
  • Oversee working relationships with internal and external creative partners to facilitate the production of content from ideation to delivery
  • Create, manage, and help to socialize a content development calendar aligned to segment and enterprise priorities, such Teladoc Health's product roadmap, to ensure timely development of content necessary for market segment campaigns and sales conversations
  • Understand content marketing trends and content performance data to inform and evolve the overall content strategy

Candidate Profile

  • 15-20 years of marketing experience, with considerable emphasis on B2B content
  • Proven B2B storyteller and excellent writer, skilled at distilling complex concepts to compelling and audience-centric content
  • Experienced team leader - prioritizes work, provides thoughtful direction, and invests in professional development of team
  • Recognized as a cross-team collaborator - listens effectively and guides thoughtful decisions in a matrixed organization
  • Strong healthcare industry acumen preferred
  • Editorial mindset capable of managing a flexible B2B content organizing system and content calendar responsive to changing market dynamics and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work with marketing and sales leaders
  • Balances efficiency and effectiveness
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, integrated marketing, communications, journalism, or PR preferred

The base salary range for this position is $151,000 - $175,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
