WHAT YOU'LL DO Security & Trust Organization (S&TO) - Offer security, privacy and business assurance is a global team that addresses both planning and operational needs to ensure compliance with Policy, Regulations, and Industry Standards. This team helps protect Cisco's reputation by facilitating Cisco's compliance to global security, privacy, and data protection regulations, and demonstrates the company's commitments to trust and transparency. This a senior role that serves as a primary point of contact and liaison between business functions and S&TO to enable compliance maturity in security and privacy and related standards. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify applicable compliance areas for the business. Engage with data owner teams and SMEs across the company to track, drive decisions, and develop processes related to compliance obligations Identify and enable process improvement efforts; and drive necessary changes in the business team's operations to align with the evolving compliance regulation landscape and business demands Develop, and maintain, compliance to core Cisco policies and standards. Lead escalations and efforts to overcome obstacles that may prevent compliance with relevant requirements. Partner with S&TO control owners to ensure appropriate reviews and approvals are secured and documented, and drive necessary changes that result from the feedback Educate stakeholders to improve overall ability to respond to changing security and privacy requirements. WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH The role requires engagement and relationship building with stakeholders across the business to assure compliance with both ethical and regulatory obligations. This includes CSDL, Privacy / PCoE, Legal, BUs, EBOs, Compliance, Engineering, and S&TO teams. The team that you'll join is a geographically and professionally diverse group - with global team members, and they joined from backgrounds in areas like Security, Engineering, and Compliance. WHO YOU ARE The Program Manager (PM) focuses on relationship management, formal connections to other teams' processes and systems, and driving the needed work forward that is being managed by our broader team. This role provides an opportunity to build relationships with teams across Cisco. You will engage with teams of data owners in all areas of the business - from the products we sell, to the systems that run Cisco's own business. The ideal candidate is comfortable building connections, addressing gaps, problem solving, and driving big projects across the finish line. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a privacy, security, data protection, program management, or other relevant business role 7+ years of experience working in privacy, security, incident management, or program management A team-focused attitude and a willingness to continue learning about privacy and data protection matters that impact our business Strong influencing skills; able to thrive in a hybrid work environment across teams and time zones Comfortable in a fast-paced, regularly evolving environment with structured timelines Excellent verbal and writing skills including the ability to understand, simplify, and communicate about sophisticated issues An ability to think strategically, prioritize well, and work independently Knowledge of Cisco organizations and basic privacy laws / requirements PMP or IAPP Certifications a plus, but not required Familiarity with OneTrust and/or Service Now preferred WHY CISCO #WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.
