Data Specialist - 2nd Shift

Summary:

Responsible for accurate and timely review of critical donor information input into the national blood computer system(s). Tasks include changing donor information, managing the national donor database activities, evaluating hits between databases, identification, and resolution of potential duplicate donor records, identification and resolution of invalid records, and management of data discrepancies.

Shift: Wednesday- Sunday, 11am -7:30pm

(Working Remotely one day a week)

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve duplicate donor records.
• Evaluate multiple records to determine if records are the same individual.
• Identify and resolve donor data discrepancies.
• Evaluate discrepant information to determine the appropriate resolution.
• Modify donor and patient records.
• Apply and remove deferrals to donor records.
• Contact donors and third parties to resolve donor data issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of four years of specialized business and/or typing/data processing experience is required.
• Intermediate level computer skills with Microsoft Office applications in a Windows environment are required.
• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills are required.
• Must be detail-oriented; possess strong organizational skills and the ability to process data with speed and accuracy.
